In plastic recycling, it is important to understand the complementary roles of mechanical and chemical methods in creating a circular economy.
Earlier today, we covered the mechanical part. In this session, we welcome Dr. Norbert Niessner, Global Innovation Director at INEOS Styrolution, to cover the chemical part. He will talk us through the depolymerization process – from yoghurt cup to yoghurt cup, the depolymerization of polystyrene, and the recycling performance of Styrenics, among many other things.
